What we collect: the information needed to prepare your visa application, including your contact details, passport details, family details, travel plans, work and education details, photo and the documents you upload. The Chinese visa form asks some sensitive questions, which we collect only because the official form requires it.
Why we use it: to check your eligibility, prepare and submit your visa application, book your appointment, contact you about it and keep the records we must keep. Our legal basis is the contract between us, your consent where we ask for it, and our legal obligations.
Who we share it with: the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre and Chinese authorities, as needed to process your application, and service providers who run our website, forms and email, such as Netlify. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it: only as long as needed to complete your application and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Your rights: you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details on our contact page. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
